A quick ride in an American masterpiece will set the pace for this exciting evening, including John Adams' velocious 4 minute and 15 second work Short Ride In A Fast Machine. Environmental imagery projections from Grand Canyon National Park and the Library of Congress Archives set the backdrop for Ferde Grofé's lush and picturesque Grand Canyon Suite. Gold Medalist of the 2014 Ninth Quadrennial International Violin Competition of Indianapolis Jinjoo Choo will provide violinistic fireworks with works by John Williams from the 1993 Academy Award winning film Schindler's List, the Finale from Erich Wolfgang Korngold's Violin Concerto, and Henri Vieuxtemps Souvenirs d'Amérique (Variations on Yankee Doodle).
