Welcome, teachers!

Join us for Symphonic Storytelling!

We are excited about the upcoming 2026 Education Concerts on Wednesday, March 25th at 9:45 am CST and 11:15 am CST. We are looking forward to seeing you and your students there.

To reserve your school’s place in this year’s concerts, email info@danvillesymphony.org, or call the DSO Office at 217-443-5300, hours 1-5 pm weekdays.

This year, we will be exploring two magnificent pieces, Ottorino Respighi’s first movement of Trittico Botticelliano “Primavera” (“Spring”) and Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, and discover how these two composers used various tools, such as pitch, timbre, rhythm, and dynamics, to tell these wonderful stories through music.
